As a seasoned Finance Practitioner, Nancy has 19 years of demonstrated experience with a proven track
record in but not limited to: Financial & Grant Management; Development and Maintenance of Strong
Internal Control Systems & Policies; Budget Development, Budget Monitoring, Budgetary Compliance
checks and remedies for budget variances; Risk Management. She has extensive working experience
with International Development Organizations and interacting with various donors and an in-depth
understanding of Donor Needs & Requirements.
Nancy has a BBA – Accounting with a special emphasis on small businesses and entrepreneurship and
an MBA in Financial Management. She has certification in Design Thinking for Innovation &
Foundations of Business Strategy from Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. She is
currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance at St. Paul’s University. Her broad research area of interest is in
the Profitability of banks, Financial Innovation, and Financial Access for Persons with Disabilities, also
Development Finance and access to credit for economic development in African Economies. Other areas
of interest include Financing, Fundraising, and Sustainability Strategies of donor-funded organizations
and Disability Inclusion.

She has been an Adjunct lecturer at St. Paul’s University, a Financial Advisor at Resource Centre for
Women & Girls & a Board Member at Inua Kike, Embulbul Catholic Dispensary & St. Monica
Academy in Kitengela.
