Eider Africa is proud of 14 years of experience in gender, research, education, health and social development.

Research Projects and Consultancies

We have been involved in coordination and implementation of development, research and humanitarian projects that focus on: Gender Analysis, Livelihood, Sexual Reproductive Health, Mental Health and Psycho social Support; Gender Based Violence, Children and Youth policy; Forced Displacement in national and international contexts like Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. We have worked for international organisation and local organisations.

Research Projects

2021- 2022 our researchers have been involved reviewing programs that address sexual reproductive health and rights, violence against children prevention and response, evidence development. Other interventions include: facilitating courses, designing and monitoring mentorship programs and training peer reviewers.

In July 2019 we secured a position in field research with World University Services Canada-Research on Displaced Youth Initiative a consultancy of Master Card Foundation exploring the initiatives and programs that support displaced youth in accessing higher education and employment following post-secondary studies.

Our founder was the lead consultant for a feasibility Study on Internationalization of Masters Program on International Development in Kenya, for Radboud University, Netherlands; 2018. Study focused on analysis the “gap” between industry needs and what is taught by the universities.

Gender Projects

In 2021- 2022 our researchers have been involved in global and regional gender analysis, assessment and gender integration efforts.

We were able to participate in gender analysis of the Skills for Life project in Kakuma with SwissContact in June 2019. In July 2018 our founder was chosen as the Kenya Gender consultant for the Swiss Cooperation on International Development.

We also participated in research on Sexual Violence During the 2017 Electioneering period in Select Areas in Kenya
